Dr. Maz Moshiri has a private practice in St. Louis, MO and has been a faculty member for Align Technology since 2013.  He is the co-founder of The Aligner Intensive Fellowship, an online residency that has educated nearly 5,000 orthodontists worldwide on the proper treatment planning and use of clear aligners.  

Currently, he is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the orthodontic residency program at the Center for Advanced Dental Education at Saint Louis University, with a focus on clear aligners.  He serves on the clinical advisory boards of Orthodontic Partners, and LightForce Orthodontics, and is an Associate Editor for the Voice of an Expert column for the AJODO Clinical Companion.  Dr. Moshiri is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics as well as a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.

Dr. Gardner loves creating smiles!  His passion is figuring out how to treat people more effectively and efficiently with Invisalign clear aligners, and then sharing these techniques with others.  In 7th grade, he did his high school science fair project on orthodontics.  His interest in biomechanics and excellence in orthodontics has exponentially increased since then, making him a certified Invisalign nerd. 🤓

After attending Wake Forest University, he attended dental school at VCU and then finished his orthodontic residency at NYU in 1998.  Dr. Gardner has been teaching at the VCU Orthodontic Residency as adjunct faculty every Thursday morning since 2000.  He is certified with the American Board of Orthodontics, enjoys testing new materials and helping Align with pilot studies, and has recently been a part of CBCT integration and Smile Architecture, among other innovations.

His lecturing has taken him throughout the United States as well as to Canada, Europe, South America, and Asia, which is great because he loves learning about new cultures.  Dr. Gardner's favorite topic to discuss is clinical excellence, especially complex interdisciplinary cases and digital treatment planning.  He enjoys hanging out with his family, participating in extreme sports and juggling fire.  When you meet him, it will become obvious that he has the energy to incite passion with his creative and novel ideas.

Dr. Sandra Khong Tai is a practicing Specialist in Orthodontics in Vancouver, Canada.  She is Clinical Assistant Professor in Orthodontics at the University of British Columbia and the University of the Pacific in San Francisco.  She has treated over 4,000 cases with Invisalign clear aligners.

Dr. Bill Kottemann graduated from the University of Iowa, College of Dentistry in 1976.  He completed his training in orthodontics at the University of Minnesota in 1978, obtaining a Master of Science degree.

Farooq is a Consultant Orthodontist at Guy’s Hospital and a Specialist Orthodontist in private practice in London.

He received his BDS with Honours from the University of Manchester in 2009 and embarked on specialty training from 2012 to 2015 at the University of Manchester Dental Hospital, during which he received the award for Best Case Presentation. He achieved his Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2015 and was awarded the J.K. Williams Gold Medal. Farooq continued his education with post-CCST training at The Royal London Dental Hospital and Northwick Park Hospital from 2015 to 2018.

He was appointed Consultant at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and Northwick Park Hospital in 2018. He has worked in private practice since 2015 in Crouch End, North London, in a multidisciplinary practice. He has lectured on aligners, hypodontia, orthognathic surgery, and digital orthodontics, and has had 21 peer-reviewed publications, including a Cochrane Review.

He has published a textbook, Planets of Orthodontics, comprising seven volumes. He is a Subeditor for the Journal of Orthodontics and an Editorial Board Member of Seminars in Orthodontics.

Dr. Garfinkle is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a reviewer for numerous scientific journals. Dr. Garfinkle has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and authored multiple book chapters on the technique of Nasoalveolar Molding and the use of clear aligners for patients with cleft lip and palate. Dr. Garfinkle maintains a private orthodontic practice with a high clear aligner SOC and is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Surgery and the Director of Craniofacial Orthodontics at OHSU. Dr. Garfinkle is the co-founder of Smile Oregon, a non-profit that serves kids in Oregon born with cleft and craniofacial conditions.
