The Aligner Intensive Fellowship 2.0 (TAIF) is a set of online courses founded by Dr. Mazyar Moshiri and Dr. Jonathan Nicozisis to educate the orthodontic community on the uses and benefits of aligner therapy. Both courses were newly recorded in July 2023 and have been continually updated with new lessons as recently as 2026 with new information based on industry changes that have taken place in recent years.

Both the Fundamentals and Advanced courses have been updated with new information based on industry changes in the past few years, and starting with Fundamentals is always recommended. The Advanced course covers treatment for more complex and challenging cases. They can also be bought together as a discounted bundle. Our courses are only intended for participants with a comprehensive understanding of orthodontic biomechanics with at least two years of full-time orthodontic practice and advanced training.

We are required to replace or modify the course every 3 years to maintain CE compliance, and to inform you of our deadline for doing so. This date is not your CE deadline.

Here’s how to receive your CE/CPD attendance verification document:

1. Complete all course modules and quizzes.
2. Submit the final course evaluation.
   – The link will be emailed after you pass all quizzes.
3. Download your attendance verification document.
   – Once the evaluation is submitted, your personalized document will be generated and sent via email (PDF). 

Your document will include:

• Your name
• Course title and completion date
• Number of CE/CPD hours earned
• Required AGD PACE provider language

For Canadian participants:

• Your document is recognized as AGD PACE-approved CE.
• In most provinces, you’ll self-report your CE hours by uploading the verification document to your provincial dental college portal.
• Your verification document will include the provider information and PACE disclaimer required for recognition.

For UK/Ireland participants:

• Your verification document reflects verifiable CPD hours.
• You may need to log these hours into your CPD system and retain the verification document for your records in case of audit.

For other participants:

Acceptance of PACE credit is at the discretion of each licensing body. Participants outside the U.S. are encouraged to confirm recognition with their local regulatory authority.

Please check with your local regulatory authority for confirmation of recognition, as requirements may vary.

The course content, speakers, and educational value you signed up for remain exactly the same. The only change is that Continuing Education credits will now be provided directly through us as an approved AGD PACE provider (#389687).

The Aligner Intensive Fellowship is now the official PACE-approved provider of continuing education credit for this course. While CE credits are specific to the United States, we want to reassure you that our program is fully structured and compliant in a way that allows UK professionals to self-submit for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

What this means for you:

• You will continue to benefit from the same high-quality educational content.

• Although we cannot directly issue CPD certificates, our course documentation (attendance verification, learning objectives, and course evaluations) is prepared in accordance with recognized standards to support your CPD submission.

• At the conclusion of the course, you will receive the necessary documentation to submit to your professional body for CPD credit.

If you complete all the CE requirements, your CE Attendance Verification Document will be issued to you in the year that you completed your Course Evaluation.  We are unable to make any exceptions to this for any reason, as we must abide by CE regulations in order to offer credits to you.

No, the Aligner Fundamental Residency course does not come with any CE.

If you are an alumni of the original Aligner Fellowship, you still retain access to the course content.
